OBITUARY

Foreman

Joseph Foreman, aged 58 years, a member of the Soldier’s Home, died this morning at 5:10 o’clock of heart disease. He had been a member of the Home but a short time, having entered from Des Moines on June 27. He was born in Ohio, April 26, 1846, and enlisted in Ninth Illinois volunteer cavalry. He was discharged at Springfield, Ill., May 11, 1865, at the close of the war.

He leaves a brother, James Foreman, and a sister, Miss Mary Foreman, living in Winterset. No arrangements have been made for the funeral as the relatives have not been heard from.
