ST. ANTHONY WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY FRIDAY

Mrs. Ricky Fisher, 86, died suddenly Friday afternoon at her home in St. Anthony. The cause of death was coronary thrombosis and age debility. Mrs. Fisher was born May 26, 1859 near Iowa City, the daughter of Soloman and Anna Miller Harger. The family moved to Polk county, near Maxwell, when whe was a young woman. She was married to Will Whitmore and they lived there until 1900. Mr. Whitmore died in December, 1900, and she was married to John Fisher in 1912. The couple moved to the Albion community in 1913, moving to St. Anthony in 1916. Mr. Fisher died Jan. 28, 1938. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Harris, Mrs. Barbara Butterfield and Mrs. Vina Hayes, all of Bloomington, Neb.; three sons, Ben H. Whitmore of Norwalk, L. O. Whitmore and Stephen Whitmore of Liscomb; one daughter, Nora Hambly of Northwood; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The body is at the Estel Funeral home where a prayer service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday and funeral services will be held at the Christian church in St. Anthony at 2:30 p.m. Both services will be in charge of Rev. George Biersborn.
