MANDI FAYE EHLER

Mandi Faye Ehler, 18, of Gilman died Sept. 8, 2004, from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Highway 30 near Montour.

A funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 13, at Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Pauley, pastor of Kellogg United Methodist Church, officiating. Pall bearers were Clay, Jurgen, Levi and Trai Ehler, Trent Rohrdanz and Todd Verwers. Honorary bearers Blake, Neal, Rhett and Whitney Ehler. Burial was in Rock Creek Cemetery, rural Jasper County. Memorials may be made to the Mandi Faye Ehler Memorial Fund.

The daughter of Stephanie (Stevi) Ehler, she was born Jan. 17, 1986, in Marshalltown. She was raised in Gilman and was a 2004 graduate of East Marshall High School. She was employed at the Meskwaki Casino in Tama.

She is survived by her mother, Stevi of Newton; one brother, Levi Ehler of Newton; her boyfriend, Levi Todd of Marshalltown; her grandparents, Henry and Janis Ehler of Kellogg; aunts, uncles and cousins.
