MRS. SARAH CONNLEY DIES AT HOSPITAL; RITES TO BE MONDAY

Mrs. Sarah E. Connley, 80, a long time Marshalltown resident, died in a local hospital Thursday night where she had been a patient for the last two years. She was born Sarah E. Clark in Clay county, Ind., on April 26, 1872. In 1891 she was married to Edward B. Connley and the following year the couple came to Marshalltown where they made their home until Mr. Connley's death in Sept. 1935. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Preceding her in death beside her husband was a daughter, Mrs. Luther Blanton, in 1937. Survivors include two sons, Earl Connley of this city and Henry of Portland, Ore. Also surviving are two brothers and a sisters, James Clark of this city, Joseph Clark of Denver, Col., and Mrs. Lizzie Welch of Chico, Calif., along with eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services will be at the Estel funeral home at 1:30 p.m., Monday in charge of the Rev. Frank Cook. Burial will be in the Albion cemetery.
