MRS. HAUSER IS DEAD AT 67; RITES TUESDAY

Mrs. John L. Hauser, 67, 8 Ferner St., died at her home Friday afternoon. She had been in failing health for the last year. She was born Minnie Augusta Hockadey, July 15, 1890, in Mocksville, N.C., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hockadey. She received her education and grew to womanhood in that community. March 5, 1915, she married John L. Hauser at Mocksville and the same year the couple came to State Center. They moved to Marshalltown in 1934 where she had since resided. Preceding her in death were three children. Surviving are her widower, five children, Robert Hauser, Los Alamos, N.M., Mrs. Edna Richardson, West Des Moines, Ray, James and John K. Hauser, all of Marshalltown. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren. Three sisters, two brothers, all living in North Carolina, also survive. Services will be from Estel-Perrin Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in charge of the Rev. Frank Cook, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Riverside.
