E. M. ARNEY, COUNTY NATIVE, DIES IN WEST

J. L. Arney of this city received word Wednesday of the death May 2 of his brother, E. M. Arney, a native of Marshall county, at his home in Oregon where he had lived for the last several years. He was past 79 years of age. Mr. Arney was born in Marshall county Jan. 4, 1862, a son of Andrew and Elmira Arney, pioneers who settled in Marshall county in 1849. He married Ella Veatch, March 15, 1883, and they lived in Marshall county until 1893, then moving to Colorado. He had lived in the west ever since. Besides the brother here he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. John Small and Mrs. Anna Nyce of Liscomb and Mrs. H. S. Sickman of St. Anthony, and several sons and daughters living in the west. Burial took place in Oregon.
