The body will be cremated and the ashes will be brought to Marshalltown by her brother, George Willits, for deposit in Riverside cemetery. Miss Willits, daughter of the late J. C. and Ann P. [Putnam] Willits, was born at Liscomb Oct. 29, 1875. She taught in rural schools of Marshall county and in the Marshalltown system. The family moved to California in 1904, and Miss Willits continued teaching there after being graduated by Columbia university and the University of California.
