FRED J. GOULD, LISCOMB, DIES AT EVANGELICAL

Fred J. Gould, longtime resident of Liscomb, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Evangelical Hospital, where he had been a patient since Saturday. Death was due to apoplexy. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pursel Funeral Home. Mr. Gould was born Sept. 1, 1888, at Liscomb, the son of Will and Carrie Gould. He lived all his life in the Liscomb area except for the last five years, which he spent in Mason City. He had been living in Marshalltown since Christmas. He was a farmer. He was married to Cora Davis Oct. 27, 1915, at Marshalltown. She died in 1916. He was a member of the Liscomb Christian Church. Surviving are a son, Max E. Gould, Clear Lake; a sister, Mrs. Will Ewalt, Route 5, and two brothers, Delbert Gould, Marshalltown, and Lemert Gould, Albion.
