MRS. LAMPE, 60, DIES THURSDAY

Mrs. Mabel Lampe, 60, 32 1/2 W. Main St., died Thursday night at the Evangelical Hospital where she had been a patient for the last three weeks. SHE WAS born June 15, 1895, at Melbourne, the daughter of James and Pauline Coughenour and grew to womanhood and received her education in that community. In 1911 she was married to Albert Lampe and the couple made their home in State Center, coming to Marshalltown in 1924 where she had since made her home. She was preceded in death by her parents and three children. SURVIVING ARE her husband, four sons, Ronald of Marshalltown, LaVerne and Donald, Sepulveda, Calif., three daughters, Mrs. C. L. Butler, Sepulveda, Calif., Mrs. E. J. Thompson, North Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Robert Rademacher, Glendale, Arizona. Also surviving is a brother, James Coughenour, Des Moines, and four sisters, Mrs. Emma Luff, Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. Roy McWherter, Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. Thomas Benson, LaMoille, and Mrs. Herman Bohnsack, Marshalltown and 11 grandchldren. Services will be held from the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in charge of the Rev. Ronald Dickson, pastor of the First Congregational Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
