MILLER RITES TO BE MONDAY; LAUREL BURIAL

Services for Mrs. Simon Miller, Laurel, who died Friday morning at Evangelical Hospital, will be at the Laurel Evangelical Church at 2 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Miller was born on a farm near Laurel March 7, 1887, the daughter of William and Amelia Buhrow Sash. She received her education in rural schools. OCTOBER 6, 1904, she was married to Simon Miller near Laurel and with the exception of five years spent in the Melbourne community, she had been a lifelong resident of the Laurel neighborhood. The couple observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1954. Preceding her in death were a son in infancy, two brothers, a sister and a half sister. SURVIVORS INCLUDE the widow, five children, Lester, Mrs. Clevie Smith, Mrs. Donald Paul and Mrs. T. E. Wisgerhof, all of Laurel and Fred of Haverhill; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Paul and Mrs. Millie Foreman, Marshalltown and a brother, Lou Sash, Brownsdale, Minn. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in charge of the Rev. R. S. Hindman.
