Dorothy Sanders "Roberta" Dutton (1916 - 2010)

Dorothy "Roberta" Sanders Dutton, 94, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery.

Roberta was born October 23, 1916 in Kellogg, IA to J. Frank and Laura Callison. She was a graduate of Kellogg High School and served in the Waves during WWII. Roberta lived in Des Moines most of her life, was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, and enjoyed her flower gardens and playing canasta.Survivors include her daughter, Janice (Lloyd) Deaton of Des Moines; son, John Sanders of Quincy, IL; stepson, Jim (Ann) Ramsey of Marshalltown, IA; nine grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Roberta was preceded in death by her husbands, Russell Sanders and Walter Dutton, and two sisters.
