CECIL I. MILLER TO BE BURIED THIS SATURDAY

Cecil I. Miller, 77, of 107 N. 7th Ave., died Thursday night at Marshalltown Area Community Hospital. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Pursel-Davis chapel with Dr. William Bowser officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Grove cemetery north of Albion. Mr. Miller was born May 5, 1903 in Liscomb, the son of James and Anna Mathis Miller. He was married to Florence Clay on July 2, 1932 in Unionville, Mo., and she survives. Also surviving are four children: Phyllis (Mrs. Wayne) Eggers, Marshalltown; Jerry D. Miller, Route 4; Peggy (Mrs. Kenneth) Lamb, Marshalltown; and Janet (Mrs. Richard) Foulkes, Littleton, Colo., as well as 16 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Reared and educated in the Liscomb area, Mr. Miller spent most of his life in Marshall County. He was employed by Fisher Controls and the U. S. Post Office, retiring in 1960. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Friends may call at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home.
