R. M. EWALT OF LISCOMB DIES AT 54

Randall M. Ewalt, 54, of Liscomb died at Mercy Hospital Thursday evening where he had been a patient since Tuesday night. He had been in his usual health and death was attributed to a heart attack. Born Jan. 13, 1910, in Marshall County near Liscomb he was the son of David and Pina Davis Ewalt. He received his education in the Clemons schools. ON APRIL 15, 1933, he married Anna Hill and they had always made their home in Marshall County. He had been engaged in farm work and operated the Superior 400 Service Station in Liscomb and currently was driving the school bus for the Beaman-Conrad district. Mr. Ewalt was a member of the Liscomb Church of Christ. Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister. SURVIVING ARE his widow, and two children, David Ewalt of Marshalltown and Mrs. Larry Morris, Liscomb. Also surviving are five grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Tom Meyers, Ames; Marion Ewalt, Pearl City, Ill.; Ray Ewalt, Savannah, Ill.; Mrs. George Yenney, Mt. Carroll, Ill., and Clarence Ewalt, Marshalltown. Several half brothers and sisters also survive. Services will be from the Liscomb Church of Christ at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Gordon Sorenson, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in the Liscomb Cemetery. Friends may call at the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home until 9:30 a.m., Monday.
