Jerry D. Miller, 73, of Marshalltown, died March 10, 2010, at Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown.

Born January 24, 1937 in Liscomb IA
Parents: Cecil and Florence (Clay) Miller
Moved to Marshalltown at early age
Graduated from Marshalltown HS in 1954

Married Erika Butzlaff October 14, 1961 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua IA
They lived in Iowa Falls for 8 years and moved to Marshalltown in 1969.

Operated Redden-Miller Office Machines Company, Marshalltown, in partnership with Bernie Redden, later becoming controlling partner in the company, retiring in the late 1990s

Golf then became his favorite pastime. He enjoyed his family and spent much time with them at Lake Ponderosa near Montezuma IA and at Persidio Key on the Gulf of Mexico.

Was on the board of Marshalltown YMCA for several years.

Surviving: wife Erika; son Patrick (Tammy) Miller and their children Sam and Ben, all of Story City; daughter Heidi (Jeff) Miller-Olinger and their children Drew and Tess, all of Decorah; three sisters Phyllis (Wayne) Eggers and Peggy (Kenneth) Lamb both of Marshalltown, and Janet Foulkes of Littleton CO
