W. F. Hilsabeck Dies at County Hospital

William Frank Hilsabeck, 77, a lifelong resident of Marshall County, died this forenoon at the County Hospital, where he had been a patient for 27 years, of complications, following a long illness.
Mr. Hilsabeck was born south of Marshalltown in Timber Creek Township, December 21, 1856, a son of William H. and Matilda Speas Hilsabeck. He lived in the neighborhood where he was born until he was taken to the county home.
Surviving are two brothers and three sisters, J. E. Hilsabeck and Mrs. T. J. Elsberry, Ferguson; Mrs. Matilda Turner, Albion; E. H. Hilsabeck, Cresbard, South Dakota and Mrs. Ardelia Bellus, city.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon from the Estel Funeral Home and burial will be in the Timber Creek Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home until the hour of the service.
