Bellus

Charles Bellus, aged 39, died Sunday evening at 5:00 o’clock at his home, three miles southeast of the city, after a short illness. Deceased was a well known farmer and leaves a wife and family to mourn his demise. The funeral will occur Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock from the home, Mr. A. B. Masterson, of Timber Creek, officiating and interment will follow in the Timber Creek Cemetery. The physicians in attendance upon the illness of the deceased are in some doubt as to the exact cause of death, some terming it peritonitis, wile others state the symptoms resemble obstruction of the bowels or appendicitis. It is quite likely a post mortem examination will be held.
