Matilda Catherine Fortner, aged 81, died at her home in this city, 109 Lincoln Street, Sunday evening. Funeral services were held Tuesday, interment being in Riverside Cemetery.

Well Known Sterling Lady Passes Away

Mrs. M. C. Fortner, aged 81, died at her home in this city Sunday evening following a short illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, interment being made in Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Fortner had been a resident of Sterling for about twenty years, and during those years accumulated many sincere friends who will regret her passing, even the allotted four score and the had been increased by more than another score.
