Charles Lounsberry, aged 66 years, one of the old residents of Iowa township, died at his home in Albion this morning at 10:30 o’clock of stomach and bowel trouble. Mr. Lounsberry had been in failing health for years, but only during the last few weeks did the complication which caused his death develop dangerous symptoms. He had been a resident of the county for about thirty-five years, settling near Albion shortly after the war during which he served in the Eighteenth Iowa Infantry. During the past few years he has made his home in Albion. He leaves a wife, two sons, Frank and Fred, and a daughter, Lillie. Two brothers, Harvey, of this city, and Alex A., of Seattle, Wash., and two half brothers, N. L. Lounsberry and J. C., the latter of the Soldier’s Homes, and two sisters, Mrs. E. L. Lamb, of Oakland, Cal., and Mrs. Laird, of Algona, Iowa, also survive him. The funeral arrangements have not as yet been completed.
