Mrs. Nugent Dies Thursday

Mrs. Aletha Nugent, a lifelong resident of the Bethel Grove-Liscomb area, died Thursday evening at an Eldora nursing home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Biersborn Funeral Home in Union with the Rev. Helmer Peterson officiating, and burial will be in Liscomb Cemetery. Mrs. Nugent was born at Bethel Grove May 18, 1882, to George and Ann Ketcham Hauser and married Ben Nugent there Oct. 19, 1910. The always farmed in the Liscomb area, and she was a member of the Bethel Grove Church. Surviving are a son, Walter, of LeCenter, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Roxa Nyce of Iowa Falls. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
