Former Liscomb Man Dead --- Funeral Wednesday at Liscomb

Foster C. Weatherly, aged 57, a former Liscomb township man, but more recently of Rock Rapids, died at the home of Mrs. Sarah Weatherly, 206 North First avenue, at 9:30 Sunday morning of cerebral hemorrhage. The indirect cause of Mr. Weatherly's death was anemia with which he had suffered for a year or more. His condition became quite serious four weeks ago and he came here two weeks ago for treatment. Mr. Weatherly was born in Liscomb township, Jan. 21, 1862. He was reared there and Dec. 4, 1889 was united in marriage with Miss Ida Meyers, who survives him. The family lived in Liscomb township until sixteen years ago when they moved to Rock Rapids. In addition to the widow the following six children survive their father: Merl, Frank and Bruce Weatherly, and Mrs. William McCaughe, of Rock Rapids; Paul Weatherly, of Sac City, and Mrs. L. W. Brush, of Liscomb. Three brothers and three sisters are also living. They are George Weatherly, who is living in Minnesota; David, of Rock Rapids, and John Weatherly, Mrs. M. A. Gately, Mrs. E. E. Boyd and Mrs. Sade Bueghly, of Liscomb. Mr. Weatherly was a member of the Christian church, of Liscomb, where the funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
