RITES HELD FOR MRS. TUCKER

Services were held Saturday at Carbondale, Ill., for Mrs. Lora Jane Tucker, 66, former Marshall County resident, who died last Wednesday. She had been ill for five weeks. Burial was at Paducah, Ky. She was born at Liscomb, March 1, 1899, the daughter of Frederick and Edith Speicher Buchanan. She was married to George Tucker in 1924. They lived in Marshalltown, moving from here 20 years ago. Mrs. Tucker was a saleswoman in a department store in Carbondale. Survivors include her husband; a son Richard of Fredonia, Ky.; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Cunningham of Eddyville, Ky.; three sisters, Mrs. Bess David of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Lola Baker of Kahoka, Mo.; and Mrs. Helen Hawn of Denver, Colo.; a brother Ray Buchanan of Hampton, and two grandsons. Attending the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. Carleton Tucker, 111 N. 13th Avenue.
