Former Resident Dead

Mrs. Adeline Williams, who once lived in Taylor Township dies.
Mrs. Adeline Williams, whose maiden name was Carter, and who many years ago lived in the Prairieville neighborhood of Taylor township was buried this afternoon at New Sharon, where she has lived for the past two years. Mrs. Williams died in Protection, Kansas on Tuesday, of cholers morbats. The body reached New Sharon Wednesday night.

A sad co-incident of Mrs. William's death was that her brother, Mr. Able Carter, also formerly of New Sharon, died Sunday in Kansas City and was buried there on Tuesday, the very day that his sister died. The two formerly lived together in New Sharon, but Mr. Carter had gone to Kansas City to live with his son. His sister was in Protection visiting a daughter when she was taken sick.

Mrs. Williams was 72 years of age. Her husband had been dead for a number of years. Four sisters, Mrs. Eliza and Mrs. Mary Collins, of this city, and misses Susannah and Anna Carter of Albion, went to New Sharon this morning to attend the funeral. Another sister, Mrs. Phillip Collins, lives in north Taylor township. Thomas Collins also went to New Sharon for the funeral, the services of which were in charge of Rev. E. H. Brown, pastor of the Friends church here.
