Cecil McMahon, 68, of 918 Jackson St., died Saturday Sept. 16, at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center. His body is being cremated and no services are planned at this time. Friends may call Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home for further information.
He was born Oct. 12, 1926, at Laurel, to Richard L. and Nellie Westeroff McMahon. Before moving to Marshalltown, he had been employed by a baking company at Seattle, Wash.
Survivors include two children, David McMahon and Cynthia Noble, both of Seattle, Wash., four grandchildren; two brothers, Richard McMahon of Marshalltown and Dean McMahon of Denver, Colo.; a sister Marian Wilkening of Marshalltown.
He was preceded in death by a son.
