ZEARING - Raelind Sue Winters, 55, Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Marshalltown, died Sunday, Feb. 21, at her home of cancer. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Freegill Funeral Home in Zearing. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown. The Rv. John Herzog will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home until service time.

She was born in Marshalltown and graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1955. She entered the US Army in 1955 and served until 1967. She then went into Civil Service work as head of the payroll department of Fort McCollum, Ala., until retiring in 1988 in Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna Slout.

Survivors include a brother, Jerry Winters, Marshalltown, four sister, Betty (Mrs. Ed) Tompkins, Indianola, Shirlee (Mrs Keith) Krusemark, Glendale, Ariz., Phyllis (Mrs Charles) Yocum, rural Zearing, and Carol (Mrs David) Johnson, rural Zearing.
