Mrs. Brierley Dead

Mrs. Amanda Brierley, age 47, wife of Charles F. Brierley, and an old resident of the county, died at herhome, 920 Jackson street, at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon of dropsy and leakage of the heart Mrs. Brierley had been sick for a year.

Mrs. Brierley's maiden name was Amanda Winters. She was born in State Cente, Sept. 18, 1865, and except for a residence of five years in Wyoming, she had lived in the county all her life. She was marriedto CharlesF. Brierley in Marion township Sept 23, 1883. The family had lived here most of the time since then. They went to Riverside, Wyoming five years ago, but returned from there three months ago.

In addition to her husband, four sons and two daughters survive their mother They are Fred, Herbert, Lewis and Walter Brierley, of this city, Mrs. Etta Dawson, of this city, and Mrs. Hazel Wambecker, of Encampment, Wyoming. Mrs. Brierley's father, Joseph Wintes, lives in this city, and threeb rothers and two sisters survive her. They are Fred and Frank Winters, Mrs. E. D. Batesole, and Mrs. J. P. Jon so of this city and Elmer Winters of Heela, S. D.

The funeral will be held at the Churh of the Brethren in Marion township Friday morning at 11 o'clock.
