Funeral servicesforCharles E Lacey, who died at is home, 409 South First Street, Monday, willbe held Thurday at 2 p.m. at the Pursel Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Albion Cemetery Thebody will remain at the funeral home until Wednesday noon when it will be taken to the residence until time for service.

Mr. Lacey was born Oct. 3, 1869 in Lamoille, the son of Alexander and Rachel Lacey. He was married March 12,1897, to Laura C. Hanna in Albion. They lived on a farm nortwest of Albion for many years and came to Matshalltown ten years ago.

Mr Lacey is survivied by his widow, and three children, Carl A. Lacey who lives six miles southeast of the city, Mrs. George Courtney of Ottomwa; and Mrs Carl Brown of Grimes, Another son, Herbert, died at 2 years of age. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, one grandchild and one brother, Lewis Lacey of Albion.
