Pella Poisoning Case

Hello,

I'm interested in any information related to 1887 incident referred to as the Pella Poisoning case when pharmacist Henry Van de Ven was accused and charge with poisoning his spouse Alma Rhodes. I've found a lot of information in old Pella and Knoxville newspapers, but I've otherwise found no mention of it in any other records.
