Thanks for your response.I, too, am a relative (although distant) of Duane's -- 2nd cousin twice removed. John Mathew and Lucinda Moorman/Morman are my 3ggrandparents. From there I descend from their daughter Rebecca Jane Mathew, who married James Smith. I had actually come to Marion Co. in 1992 to learn more about the Smith line, but meeting Duane changed everything and he so very generously gave of his time and knowledge about the Mathew family.

What is your relationship to Duane?
