Newspaper Lookup

I have a bad Xerox copy of a newspaper article from the Knoxville Express dated 1916. The article states " Has Old Marriage License". The article goes on to say that DL Phillips brought in a marriage license from 1806 for his father, Thomas Phillips and Elizabeth Hole. Whoever cut the article out didn't include the exact date - someone wrote 1916 on the edge of the page. Is it possible for someone to look this up for me and take a copy? I will GLADLY pay for time and expenses.
