Tripp family

My ggrandparents Austin B. Gwin and Florence A. Tripp married in Marion Co., IA on April 19, 1868. Florence's brother Samuel also married in the same year in Marion Co. He married Esther Jane Newcomb Bone. Was the Tripp family from Iowa? Florence was said to be a teacher there, how would I find out? Austin travled from Ohio to get married. Esther was supposed to be living in Neosho, Kansas before she married Samuel Tripp. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
