DEBRUIN, MENNINGA, WILDMAN, ROAN

After receiving medical records for my great-grandmother (Dora Menninga), I discovered that she was an adopted child. Information in records were provided by my great grandmother, and I am trying to verify this information. She gives her biological fathers' last name as Wildman. She gives her biological mothers' name as Cora Ellen Roan. Dora was born 6-14-1895, and states that at the age of 6 she was put into an orphanage and adopted about a year later by Dirk & Emma DeBruin of Pella, Iowa.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
