Earl,

Any relation to Peter Rice who appears in the Marion County Census in 1860 and 1870? In later years, Peter spelled his name Royse. Not sure if the change was intentional or if he just got better at spelling.

Peter is supposed to have m1. Mary Goody and had a son Charles, along with Edward, Lewis, and Louisa. He then m2. Elizabeth and had children Cory, William, Mary Ann, Carrie and Virgil.
