I'm looking for death information for Alonzo McGhee, b. 1852 in Montgomery County, IN; son of Elizabeth Brush McGhee, d. 6/22/1882 in Pleasantville, Marion County, IA; father of John F., Homer, and Elmer who were all born in Marion County, IA; husband of Alta Amanda Rose - they were married in Pleasantville 1868. Alta's father was Philip Rose, son of Abraham Lacy Rose. Also looking for information on Philip and Sarah Vorhees Rose. After Philip Rose died in the Civil War, Alta and her brother Philip went to live with their paternal aunt and uncle, Silas and Margaret Rose Haynes. Was Alta's father an MD? What happened to Sarah Vorhees Rose?
