1909 Marriage License in Marion County

Back in 1999 a Jean Leeper was doing lookups for Marion County. She stated that my Jennie Loverink did marry an Albertus Flatz (I thought it was Glatz) on 27 February 1909 in Marion County (possibly in Pella). I was ill for a number of years and let this slide by until recently. I wrote to Des Moines, Iowa for the marriage license but they do not have it. I would like to know if someone can tell me if it's available from the County Clerk and if so how much would it cost. Thanks in advance for any help available.
