Knoxville Journal September 6, 1917

Mayo William Metz son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Metz, of Marysville, died Thursday, August 16, aged 1 year, 11 months and 6 days. The little fellow had been a victim of infantile paralysis for a period of less than twenty four hours.

The burial service was made in the Marysville cemetery Friday, August 17--Bussey Record.
