Died, at her home, east of Attica, Wednesday, Aug. 20, Mrs. W.H. Briggs, aged 66 years.

Deceased had been afflicted with dropsy of the heart for the past two years and death was not unexpected. She leaves a blind husband and several children to mourn their loss.

The funeral was held at the home on Thursday afternoon; interment in Bridges cemetery.
