PELLA - Wilbur H. Van Hall, 74, of Pella, died Thursday, May 17, at Pella Regional Health Center.

His funeral service is 2:30 p.m. today, May 21, at Tracy Christian Reformed Church in Tracy, Al Bandstra officiating. Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella is in charge of arrangements. Burial: Bellfountaine Cemetery, Tracy. Memorials: Hospice of Pella or Tracy Christian Reformed Church.

Wilbur H. Van Hall was born June 21, 1926, in Pella, to John and Margaret Van Veldhuizen Van Hall. He married Janet Beekhuizen on Jan. 24, 1951. He spent 50 years on the farm near Tracy. He also had been a bus driver for Twin Cedars School.

He was a member of Tracy Christian Reformed Church, American Legion post No. 0647 in Tracy, and the Dutch Masters Car Club in Pella; He enjoyed following his daughters to softball and basketball games, and later did the same for his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Janet, of Tracy; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Marcia and Mike Terpstra of New Sharon, Twyla and Robert De Haan of Pella, and Karla Van Hall of Des Moines and her friend Jim Scrivner; five grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law: Henry and Jeanette Van Hall of Pella; a sister and brother-in-law: Betty and Bob Andersen of Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
