Corwin Gene Trinkle, 73, of Marshalltown and formerly of Bussey, died Sunday, Dec. 31, at the VA Medical Center in Knoxville.

His funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gilbert-Nordstrom Funeral Home in Bussey, the Rev. Samuel Subramanian officiating. Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery in Bussey, with military rites. Visiting hours begin today at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with family present 6-8 p.m.
