PELLA - James Arvin TerLouw, 55, of Pella, died Saturday, July 28, at his home in Pella.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Third Reformed Church in Pella, the Rev. Kevin Korver officiating. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery in Pella. Visiting hours begin 9 a.m. Tuesday at Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella, with family present 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials: Mission Walk International.
James Arvin TerLouw was born Dec. 28, 1945, in Pella to Paul and Dorothy Synhorst TerLouw. He was a lifetime resident of Pella and an entrepreneur. He was a member of the Third Reformed Church in Pella, the Lions Club and Gideons International. He founded Mission Walk International.
He is survived by his father, Paul, of Pella; his wife, Helen Faye Wyma TerLouw of Pella; two sons and daughters-in-law: Joshua and Angela TerLouw of St. Charles, Ill., and Kevin and DuAnne TerLouw of Vianopolis, Brazil; a daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Wade Wilkie of Carroll; five grandchildren: Kylie Marie and Samuel John Wilkie, Samara Faye, Regina Elaine and Kevin Michael James TerLouw; a brother and sister-in-law: Stephen Paul and Kathy TerLouw of Pella; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Connie and Carl Duinink of Knoxville, and Mary and Barry Sparks of Newton.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy.
