Richard G. Steenhoek, 89, formerly of Pella and presently of Ames, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Reformed Church in Pella, the Rev. Donald Steenhoek and the Rev. John H. Piersma officiating. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery near Leighton. Visiting hours will be all day Friday and until noon Saturday at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella; the family will be presesnt 6-8 p.m. Friday.
