KNOXVILLE - Cherri Hancock, 50, of Knoxville, died Tuesday, July 3, at her home.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gilbert-Nordstrom Funeral Home in Lovilia, the Rev. Brian Harris officiating. Burial: T'Lam Cemetery in Marion County. Visiting hours start 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with family present 6-8 p.m. today. Memorials: open.
Cherri Hancock was born Jan. 28, 1951, in Des Moines to Louis and Irene Little Glasford. She graduated from Twin Cedars High School in 1969. She was a member of ABATE, and was manager of H&R Block in Knoxville.
She married Benjamin Hancock on Aug. 14, 1994, in Marion County.
She is survived by her husband, Ben of Knoxville; a brother, Jerry De Marce of Des Moines; and two sisters: Joanie De Marce of Calif., and Connie Price of Bussey.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
