PELLA - Phyllis E. Vander Zyl, 63, of Pella, died Saturday, July 20, in the Long Term Care Unit of Pella Regional Health Center, where she had lived the past 15 years.

A graveside service was set for 4 p.m. today, July 22, at Graceland Cemetery in Pella. Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the PRHC Long Term Care Unit.

Phyllis Vander Zyl was born Nov. 11, 1938, in Pella to Floyd and Louesa Baarda Vander Zyl. She was a client of the Christian Opportunity Center in Pella. She enjoyed people, music, coloring and dolls. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Pella.

She is survived by her mother, Louesa Vander Zyl of Pella; a sister and brother-in-law: Eunice L. and James Van Tuyl of Des Moines; a brother and sister-in-law: Eldon L. and Cindy Vander Zyl of Ames; and two nephews: Matthew A. and Mark A. Vander Zyl.
