PELLA - Annie Heyveld, 87, of Pella, died Tuesday, June 18, in Pella Regional Health Center's Long Term Care Unit.

Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella, Pastor John Van Den Berg officiating. Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery in Jasper County north of Galesburg. Memorials: PRHC Long Term Care Unit. Visiting hours at the funeral home are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Annie Riemersma was born July 14, 1914, in Killduff to Jerry and Boujke Kuipers Riemersma.

She married Walter Heyveld in Pella on Aug. 20, 1960. Walter died June 13, 1982. She lived most of her life in the Pella area. She had worked at an overall factory, and was retired. She was a member of Third Reformed Church in Pella. She loved to garden and sew.

She is survived by a stepson, Harold J. Heyveld of Monroe; a stepdaughter, Betty Lou Ver Meer of Pella; a brother, Charlie Riemersma of Phoenix, Ariz.; a cousin, Annie Thompson of Newton; and a niece, Marlene Stearns of Audubon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers: Epp and Chris Riemersma; a sister, Gretje Riemersma; a twin brother and sister in infancy; and four stepchildren: Everett Heyveld, Bertha Bandstra, Gary W. Heyveld and Verna Vander Linden.
