Lloyd Redding, 75, of Marysville died Tuesday, March 29, 1994, at his home. Services were held 1 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Lovilia, the Rev. Walter Claussen officiating. Burial was in the Marysville Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 3, 1918, in Marysville to James and Daisy Leiby Redding. He graduated from Lovilia High School in 1936. He married Bertha J. Oliver Aug. 26, 1939, in Adel. He had farmed and spent his entire life in the Marysville area.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Sally Murphy of Washington; three sons, Bill of Atlanta, Ga., Ted of Parnell and Tom of Bussey; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Davies of Charles City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
