Knoxville Express Thursday September 25, 1894

Died at his home 2 1/2 miles SE of Attica, at 8 o'clock yesterday morning. Thomas Locke, aged nearly 73 years. Deceased had for some time been a sufferer from chronic diarrhea, and this and old age caused his death. He leaves a wife, two sons and five daughters to mourn his death. The funeral will take place to-day at the Baptist Church near Thomas Bridges.
