Funeral services for Lela Belle Langstraat, 76, were held July 22, 2002 at the Celebrate Community Church in Knoxville, the Pastor Gary Roozenboom officiating.

Interment was at the Greenwood Cemetery in rural Marion County, Iowa. Mrs. Langstraat passed away on Friday, July 19, 2002 at her home in Knoxville at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 4 days.

She is survived by her seven children: Laurie and John Kendall of Bussey, Pete and Carol Langstraat of Knoxville, Pat Langstraat of Des Moines, Tom Langstraat of Portland, Oregon, Jim and Lisa Langstraat of Waterloo, Steve Langstraat of Knoxville, and Elisabeth and Rick Gibson of Knoxville; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or the Marion County Genealogical Society.
