Funeral services for Lois Davis Sahlberg, nee Whitlatch, 88, a former resident of Libertyville, who died February 29, 2000 at her home in Sun City, Ariz., were held March 4 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Libertyville. Burial was at the Lakeside Cemetery in Libertyville.

Lois was born July 24, 1911 in Knoxville, was a former 20 year resident of Libertyville, later residing in Waukegan and retiring to Sun City in 1986. She was a former member of the Olive Branch Senior Center in Sun City.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Davis in 1954 and by her second husband John Sahlberg in 1986, and by her parents, Ernest and Nellie Whitlatch.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzy (Clarence) Roberts of Rice Lake, Wisc.; a step son, John (Arthurline) Sahlberg of Sun City; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Olive Branch Senior Center 10765 W Peoria Ave., Sun City, Ariz. 85351 or the Sun Health Hospice 12740 N Plaza duel Rio Blvd. Peoria, Ariz. 85345 in her memory.

Arrangements were made by Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Albia.
