Graveside funeral services for Willa S. Nash Harders, 81, of Cedar Falls, who died on Sunday, November 26, 2000, at the Pleasant Care Living Center, were held on Wednesday, November 29, at Polk City Cemetery. Rev. Keith Smith officiated at the services. Casket bearers were members of the family.

Willa was born on August 23, 1919, in Polk City, the daughter of Will Nash and Addie (Porter) Nash. She was raised in Polk City and graduated from high school there. She attended beautician school in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a beautician in Cedar Rapids until her retirement.

She married Clarence Harders on June 21, 1986 in Allamakee County at the Zelmona Church. The couple made their home in the Cedar Falls area.

Willa enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, hunting, and fishing.

Willa was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; sister, Dorothy Sutter; and four brothers, Everett, Forrest, Harlan, and Ralph.

She is survived by two nieces, Dolores Fortner of Pleasantville and Ruth Kelly of Stevensville, Mont.; two nephews, Don Sutter and wife MarJean of Pleasantville and Bruce "Buzz" Sutter of Polk City; sister-in-law, Leola Nash of Bettendorf; and many other family members and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Motor Friends Church.

Arrangements were made by Mason Funeral Home.
