Funeral services for Marion J. Mart, 71, who died on Sunday, December 3, 2000, at Cleveland, Texas, were held on Wednesday, December 6, at the First United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Texas.

Marion was born on December 1, 1929 in Knoxville, the son of Effie (Robuck) Mart and James C. Mart.

He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1949, served in the U.S. Navy, and was a graduate of Iowa State University. He was an Agriculture Chemical salesman.

Marion was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Norman Mart.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Merrian Westman; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Judy Mart; a sister-in-law, Alberta Mart; and many nieces and nephews.

Interment was at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
