Memorial services for Bruce Edward Barker, 49, of Boise, Idaho, who died on Friday, August 18, 2000, at his home, were held on Wednesday, August 23, at the RLDS Church in Boise.

Bruce was born on August 29, 1950, in Roseburg, Ore. He attended elementary, junior high and his first year of high school in Knoxville. After moving to Boise, he attended his junior and senior year at Borah High School from which he graduated. He married Karen Robertson in 1991.

He was active in running, tennis and pursuing his dream car. He enjoyed driving go-carts and bass fishing.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Karen; mother, Audrey; two sisters, Jeanine Arroyo and Susan Barker Fisher; two brothers, James and Ron; a step-daughter, Brandy Ellis; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Alphonsus Cancer Treatment Center, 1055 N. Curtis Road, Boise, Idaho 83706.

Arrangements were made by Cloverdale Funeral Home.
